The Texas Hill Country is beautiful, but the soil is shallow and very rocky. Our challenge here was to create a small 3-bed garden with a custom trellis on a hillside. Behind the house was a slope where we could bust up some rock to create 3 level areas for the cedar raised beds. The beds aren’t level to each other, but level to themselves. The staggered beds ended up looking like artwork
